Building a Coworking Business from Concept to Launch

Client: Workflow by Evo
Location: North Little Rock, Arkansas
Timeline: October 2024 – October 2026
Focus: Business Development, Operations, Project Management, Branding, Marketing, Technology & Hospitality

The Opportunity

When I joined the Workflow project in October 2024, Evo Business Environments was developing a new concept: a coworking space that would also serve as a living showroom for its commercial furniture offerings.

The challenge was to take that vision and build an independent, functioning business around it. Beyond the physical space, Workflow needed everything from its membership structure and operational systems to its brand identity, technology, marketing, and day-to-day procedures.

My Role

Over two years, I helped develop Workflow from an initial concept into a fully operational coworking business, overseeing the many pieces required to bring the space and its services to market.

Business Development & Operations

  • Developed membership structures, pricing, office leasing options, and bookable meeting room offerings.

  • Established operational procedures, policies, membership agreements, and internal workflows.

  • Built day-to-day operations playbooks and staff training materials.

  • Developed member onboarding, guest experience, and service standards.

  • Created sales materials, proposals, and customized office lease packages.

  • Coordinated business administration, vendor relationships, and ongoing operational needs.

Project Management & Space Development

  • Helped oversee the development and launch of nearly 10,000 square feet of coworking and meeting space.

  • Coordinated furniture selections, installations, and vendor timelines.

  • Supported space planning and the integration of Evo’s furniture showroom concept.

  • Managed operational details required to prepare private offices, meeting rooms, lounges, and shared workspaces for use.

Technology & Systems

  • Researched and implemented coworking management and booking software.

  • Established systems for memberships, office leasing, meeting room reservations, and member communications.

  • Coordinated technology requirements for conference rooms, video conferencing, and shared workspaces.

  • Developed processes for access, billing, printing, and other member services.

Branding, Marketing & Sales

  • Helped develop Workflow’s brand identity, messaging, and positioning.

  • Built marketing materials, digital content, and sales collateral.

  • Developed social media strategy and ongoing marketing initiatives.

  • Established outreach processes for prospective members, businesses, and community partners.

  • Created tour materials and sales processes to communicate Workflow’s offerings.

The Outcome

Workflow evolved from a furniture showroom and coworking concept into a functioning business with established membership offerings, operational infrastructure, technology systems, sales processes, and a recognizable brand.

My involvement connected the physical development of the space with the business systems and hospitality standards required to operate it.
