  • “I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with Katy on multiple projects, and what stands out most is her ability to balance big-picture vision with detailed execution. From day one, she’s been the driving force behind organization, direction, and clear communication between our development team and clients. Katy has a rare skill set — she understands branding, marketing, and operations, but also knows how to translate that into actionable tasks for developers like me. She anticipates challenges before they happen, makes sure we always have what we need to succeed, and keeps projects moving smoothly without ever losing sight of the client’s goals. Her approach is thoughtful, creative, and always rooted in hospitality. She doesn’t just get projects across the finish line — she makes the process enjoyable for everyone involved. Working with Katy has made me a better developer, and I’d recommend her to any team looking for a leader who can bridge strategy, execution, and people in a way few can.”

  • "Twelve years ago I fell from a ladder and became a ventilator-dependent quadriplegic with no feeling below my neck. I still work at Cushman Wakefield/Sage Partners, a company I co-founded 15 years ago. However, due to my condition, it takes a small village of caregivers to keep me going each day and night. As you can imagine this is very costly and well beyond our ability to fund the $22,000 monthly expenses. After my accident, our friends in Dallas came together to raise money for my care and called the fundraiser Tommy’s Nite Out. The word quickly got out to our friends in Fayetteville, Arkansas where we live and they too decided to create their own Fayetteville Tommy’s Nite Out. We have been fortunate to continue these fundraisers averaging every two years. When COVID hit on a year when we were planning a Tommy’s Nite Out, we quickly realized we would not be able to do an in-person event AND none of us knew how to create a virtual TNO. Fortunately, my wife Robyn and nephew’s wife Beth knew Katy Putnam. When Katy heard about our dilemma from Beth she volunteered to help us create a virtual TNO event. First, Katy offered to revamp our twelve-year-old website, and not only did she revamp it she recreated the TNO website with a totally new look and appeal. Secondly, she took on the task of dealing with a fundraising service requiring her sophisticated digital acumen. Her positive energy and work ethic kept our small committee on task for six months. She became involved in all aspects of the fundraiser including out-of-the-box ideas; such as, offering farm animals for sale, a boat, off-road vehicles, and even a very successful pie challenge that went viral. Katy connected with a friend who videotaped the band and personal messages from Tommy’s friends. They worked tirelessly to integrate all submitted videos including a whiskey tasting, friends dancing in costume, pictures, and music. The videos were interspersed with the simultaneous broadcasting of a seamless stream of live auction items. The auction items broadcasted ranged from vacation homes, hunting and fishing experiences as well as previously mentioned items. The end result was a 90-minute video that over 250 people streamed. We heard over and over again how entertaining, engaging, and fun the event was to watch. Not only was the event enjoyable for the viewers it also raised more donations than we thought possible for a virtual event. In short, we were blown away by the quality, the engagement, and the success of the event. We can not say enough about how Katy worked tirelessly to create a successful event, and even after the event she collected and delivered items including a goat or two, turkeys, bunnies, etc…Katy was not only the mastermind behind this virtual platform, but she was very detail-conscious, generous in her creativity and energetic in her efforts to ensure its success. I have forty years o

  • "My name is Allison Dolan and I am the former president of the Junior Civic League of Fayetteville, Arkansas. In the middle of my presidency, our world changed as Covid-19 began to spread through our country. Everything shut down and the philanthropic world simultaneously was hurt and went into overdrive. Our main fundraiser, Big Party: I Love Fayetteville, aims at raising funds for grants of smaller non-profits benefiting women and children in our community. As we pivoted our event to a virtual event (with no model to look towards at the beginning of the pandemic), I called on a person who had become my go-to in both my professional and personal world. Katy Putnam not only took care of my children after school as I had originally hired her to do, but I quickly learned that Katy was a marketing and social media expert. Our event needed to begin drawing in a crowd through our social media that we had never really needed to use much. Katy volunteered to take it over and quickly we saw gains of over 100% increase in views and followers both on Instagram and Facebook (the primary social media platforms for the demographic of our participants). Her savvy to understand her own age demographic but to do the research and apply the model to an older demographic was unmatched. She was timely, dedicated, loyal, and offered to help in other areas. She helped us figure out how to play a band live through streaming rights on Vimeo for the ticket holders and was able to pair that with Zoom so that we could interact with the ticket holders. Setting up a streamed event with Vimeo and multiple homes in order to meet quarantine protocol was no easy feat, but she made it look like it was. She did this all while donning a bunny suit during Easter and driving around our community giving children joy during a time we all felt fear and were trying to shield our kids from that fear. Because of Katy Putnam, we were not only able to meet our goal of $97,000 raised for 17 non-profits in Fayetteville, we exceeded the goal!! We had the opportunity to pour emergency funds into organizations how needed it most in one of the hardest seasons for non-profits we have ever seen. I am eternally grateful for Katy’s work, guidance, and leadership. She was everything we needed during that time and I would highly recommend her for any marketing venture and opportunity."

  • "About a year and a half ago I was asked by my company to take over marketing and social media, I had marketing experience but no social media experience. I reached out to Katy Putnam because I had heard that she was great to work with and had a lot of social media experience, I can confirm she is super easy and flexible to work with. With Katy's experience, she was able to teach me about the algorithms and the insights that go with social media to know when to take advantage of proper timing to send things out. How much content and what type of photos to post to grab the attention of the social media reader. Because we are a local business we work on community building and utilizing social media contests, and work with local schools, healthcare professionals, and public servants. She not only helped us position Marketplace within our community but also helped us build our brand. We have been a business for over 25 years and had very little social media presence and with the help of Katy Putnam we were able to jump from almost non-existent and generic to something that is highly visible within our local community. Our following as mentioned above went from 10,000 followers to over 20,000 followers. Each week we average a week of nearly 30,000 people. I would like to add that in every meeting I've had with Katy as it relates to social media our conversations are inspiring, she is quick with ideas that match our vision and she understands our brand and mission. In our meetings, she is able to connect the dots quickly on where she feels we should go next. She is able to transition our social media in different directions to help make it feel fresh and inviting but does it in a smooth transition. Through social media, we've gained a loyal following that looks forward to promotions Katy has helped kick start. In closing I would like to say that I feel like Katy is so personable, she makes herself accessible for an idea or thought, she's sent me texts saying "hey I have an idea" and taken it upon herself to execute it, she is completely committed to her clients beyond just the meeting. I know Katy has multiple clients from other corporations but continues to make me feel like we are her only client. She does not simply do ABC marketing, she is able to bring more color, diversity, and spontaneity to our social media".

  • "I am a member of a Southern Gospel Quartet focused on singing in churches all over the Arkansas/Oklahoma region. When I joined the quartet two years ago, I realized we needed some serious work on our branding and messaging to improve our reach to garner more invitations to minister to a broader range of churches. It was suggested that I contact Katy Putnam to help us with our online presence. We had no website so Katy created a website for us in a matter of days. She also did photoshoots of our group at two different venues to use on our website as well as our Facebook page. She took the time to teach me how to manage and update the site as needed with event photos and event dates. As for our Facebook page, we had approximately 4,000 followers and one of our members (Jake) was randomly posting several times per day. Katy did an analysis of our Facebook followers and the activity on our page. She put together a detailed strategic plan to reach our target audience. She also coached Jake through all aspects of the plan. By following the plan that Katy designed we had surpassed 10,000 followers in a few weeks. And within six months we had flown past 50,000 followers! The engagement of our followers on our Facebook page skyrocketed as well. Katy made a very quick impact on our overall online presence and reach. She clearly has a strong grasp of a multitude of online tools and had a keen sense of exactly what was needed for our group. We were thrilled with the work she did for us and would recommend her for any type of marketing effort."
