Parlay on 8th
A New Chapter for a Familiar Place
Client: Parlay on 8th | Eversted Hospitality Group
Location: 8th Street Market, Bentonville, Arkansas
Focus: Brand Storytelling, Hospitality Marketing, IT Support, Software Implementation & Business Setup
The Opportunity
Before Parlay on 8th, there was Holler.
For years, Holler was a beloved Bentonville gathering place where people came together over food, drinks, games, and good company. When the space began its next chapter as Parlay on 8th, the challenge wasn’t simply introducing a new restaurant. It was finding a way to honor what came before while creating excitement for something new.
Beyond the brand and its story, Parlay also needed the technology, digital infrastructure, and administrative systems required to launch and operate a new business.
My Role
I supported Parlay’s launch across both marketing and operations, helping establish its public-facing identity while building the systems needed behind the scenes.
Brand Storytelling & Marketing
Developed messaging that introduced Parlay as a new chapter for a familiar Bentonville gathering place.
Helped tell the story of the transition from Holler to Parlay, honoring the memories and community connections associated with the space.
Supported brand positioning, launch communications, and promotional messaging.
Developed public relations materials, including press releases.
Created social media content and marketing materials to introduce the new concept.
Business Setup & Technology
Established business profiles and digital accounts.
Set up and configured Google Workspace, including professional email accounts and administrative access.
Provided IT support and troubleshooting throughout the launch process.
Assisted with software selection, setup, and implementation.
Helped establish the digital infrastructure needed to support daily business operations.
The Outcome
Parlay on 8th opened with a distinct identity that acknowledged the history of its location while introducing a new hospitality experience.
My involvement supported both sides of that transition: communicating the story to the community and establishing the foundational technology and systems needed to operate the business.
