Ledger Bentonville
Building a Business from the Ground Up
Location: Bentonville, Arkansas
Timeline: November 2020 – August 2026
Focus: Business Operations, Project Management, Website Development, Branding, Marketing & Systems Implementation
The Opportunity
When I joined Ledger Bentonville in November 2020, the building was still under development, and the business was just beginning to take shape. What started as a role in accounting quickly evolved into an opportunity to help build nearly every aspect of the business, from its operational infrastructure to its public-facing identity.
My Role
Over the next several years, I helped bring Ledger from concept to a fully functioning coworking and business community.
Operations & Project Management
Oversaw furniture move-in and coordination across 200,000 square feet of space.
Established the initial coworking management system through Yardi and later oversaw the transition to OfficeRnD.
Managed the implementation of room access control systems and their integration with coworking software.
Developed day-to-day operational playbooks, procedures, and internal workflows.
Coordinated vendors and helped establish the systems supporting daily operations, member services, and guest experiences.
Branding, Website & Marketing
Built and developed Ledger’s website.
Created brand guides to establish consistency across marketing and communications.
Managed Ledger’s first three years of social media, with marketing involvement continuing through August 2026.
Supported ongoing marketing initiatives, digital communications, and community engagement.
The Outcome
Ledger evolved from a building under construction into an established coworking destination in Downtown Bentonville. My involvement helped establish the operational systems, technology infrastructure, brand identity, and digital presence needed to support the business from opening through continued growth.
The Takeaway
Ledger was where I discovered my passion for business operations and the value of understanding how every piece of a company works together.
From coordinating a 200,000-square-foot furniture installation to implementing software, developing operational standards, building a website, and managing marketing, I had the opportunity to help turn a concept into a functioning business.
